MSA Fall Protection will be officially discontinuing four product families as of December 31st, 2016.  Specific details regarding this phase out are outlined in the attached press releases.

BeamGlide® Trolley

This product has been made redundant by our new adjustable version Beam Trolley (P/N 10176450).  The new Beam Trolley allows for easy setup and the added functionality of adjustability eliminates the need for a custom design.  The new Beam Trolley provides excellent safety, performance, and affordability.

Horizon® & SureRail® Horizontal Lifelines

These products lines have long been high-performing options for MSA Engineered Systems, but have been made redundant by our new line of Latchways® Engineered Systems.  Latchways Engineered Systems is the leading global brand for working at heights horizontal & vertical climbing applications and are extremely durable, easy to service, and provide a lower cost of ownership.

MSA Davits – Column, Folding, Push-Pull & Vertical Ladder Mount

The following MSA Davit family of products will be discontinued:

• Column Davit & Base
• Folding Davit & Base
• Push-Pull Davit
• Vertical Ladder Mount

All customers should be directed to the new MSA/XTIRPA™ family of confined space entry equipment.  The MSA/XTIRPA confined space entry systems are extremely versatile, lightweight, and easy to setup.

OSHA-only Workman® Energy-Absorbing Lanyard Phase-Out

The OSHA-only versions have become redundant and all users should move to the ANSI-compliant versions of Workman Lanyards.  Limited supplies of OSHA-only Workman Energy-Absorbing Lanyards are still available, so proponents of this version are encouraged to move quickly before stock is depleted.  Please see chart on attached press release for alternative ANSI conversion part numbers.
