ABOUT THE WEBINAR: Over the last two years, the Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR) has updated its data on the four leading killers of construction workers, OSHA’s Focus Four: (1) Falls, (2) Struck-by, (3) Caught-in/between, (4) Electrocutions.  The webinar Health and Safety Hazards in Construction Recognition Control will review the findings on fatalities and injuries from the Focus Four, and also describe the advances being made to control these hazards.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:  Bruce Lippy started his career in industrial hygiene working with Maryland Occupational Safety and Health in 1978.  He has a Ph.D. in policy, and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional.  He was also recently designated a Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.  He currently serves as the Director of Safety Research for CPWR – The Center for Construction Research and Training.
