MSA has made a modification to the FireHawk M7 Air Mask power module battery cap as a product improvement per customer request.
The crown grip feature has been removed from the battery cap, leaving a smooth surface. This modification requires use of the male seat belt buckle to loosen the battery cap. New FireHawk M7 Air Mask units reflect this change; a replacement battery cap is also available (P/N 10083236) with list price $12.81 USD.
