Farewell to Roger Startin
09/12/2021
Roger Startin has recently retired after 40 years at Bristol. Jason Traynor, GM Global Fire Services and Bristol Integration Leader reflects on his time at Bristol.

We all know Roger for his unconditional passion and dedication to Bristol Uniforms and, more recently, MSA, over a 40-year career with our organisation. While his presence will be deeply missed, we are happy for him as he enters retirement and this next phase with family and friends.

His accomplishments – together with the respect consistently gained in the business community – will always be there to remind us how important Roger has been to establishing Bristol Uniforms’ great reputation.

Roger joined Bristol Uniforms in 1981. He worked in production and sales before assuming the role of Commercial Director in 1987. Since 2002, Roger has served as Joint Managing Director, and been instrumental in the introduction of the Managed Service in the UK and for growing sales from £6m to £40 million. Most recently, Roger played a key role in the ongoing integration of Bristol Uniforms into MSA.

I’m sure you will join me in thanking Roger for all he has done for Bristol and wish him all the best for the future.

Jason
