The MSA M1 breathing apparatus combined with the M1 Control Module is our latest piece of technology.

The highly sophisticated M1 Control Module is an easy to use personal alert safety system (PASS) with motionless sensor and the integrated full color digital display gives clear pressure and alarm indication. For assured safety the luminescent mechanical gauge shows the pressure status even if the battery is empty.

The M1 Control Module is now available with telemetry function allowing incident command to view the situation within a working fire. The capacity to monitor and provide instructions during an emergency is critical and together with the new MSA HUB and the MSA A2 Software, MSA offers a simple and reliable method to enhance firefighter safety and accountability on the fire scene. This accountability system monitors firefighters from incident command using MSA A2 software and a tablet PC which is ordered separately.

The Incident Commander can see on live vital statistics for each firefighter at the fireground such as air pressure, time remaining, radio contact, and evacuation acknowledgement. Also visible are team assignments and tasks assigned to each team.

The most exciting news is that the new M1 Control Module telemetry is backwards compatible to existing MSA telemetry equipment like the alpha Personal Network. There is no need for heavy investments and equipment can be exchanged piece by piece.
