How It's Made: The MSA GALLET F1XF Helmet

Did you ever ask yourself how your MSA fire helmet is made? Our new video gives you a look behind the scenes of this iconic helmet.

MSA introduced the GALLET F1XF as the successor to the iconic F1 helmet, whose initial concept was designed by the Paris Fire Brigade. With its jet-style disruptive design, the F1 helmet has radically changed mentalities and is now the product of 35 years of history, effort, commitment and conviction, that have marked the history of firefighters around the world.

The GALLET F1XF is MADE IN FRANCE, in our facility in Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne. While its manufacturing utilises state-of-the-art robot production lines, the individual helmet components are assembled by hand.

Our new video focusses not only on the GALLET F1XF, but the people who make it, touching every small piece along its journey to completion. Watch here
