Confined space working represents one of the most high-risk undertakings for any organisation. There are many potential dangers to workers, including fall risk.

MSA has recently recertified the Confined Space Entry Kit for vertical access and has approved the Tripod beyond EN795 as an anchorage point. From now on, the MSA Tripod is also certified CEN/TS 16415, so two persons (the worker being descended/lifted and the operator on the surface) can be safely attached to it, and their fall arrested if falling into the confined space.
