Chillgard 5000 Monitoring Platform Expands

Explore new Chillgard 5000 Refrigerant Monitoring capabilities with extended gas library including Ammonia and addition of Remote Display accessory.

We are pleased to announce that the Chillgard 5000 Refrigerant Product Family has expanded to offer more choices when it comes to detecting refrigerant leaks to over 35 gases including Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP). Utilizing Photoacoustic Infrared (PAIR) technology, the Chillgard 5000 offers a longer sensor life, is more stable, and requires less calibration.

Additionally, the Chillgard 5000 Ammonia Monitor is a new release that monitors ammonia leaks as low as 10 ppm. While also employing many of the same features as the Chillgard 5000 Refrigerant Monitor it offers advantages over traditional Non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensors.  With its predictive diagnostic capability, users are alerted in advance when it’s time to service the sensor, pump, or flow systems before unexpected failure. Calibration is performed away from the sample environment for safe, easy access reducing time spent on maintenance. Multiple communication outputs make it easy to integrate into are Building Management Systems.

The Chillgard 5000 Remote Display makes it easier than ever to comply with standards by providing entry way signalling that verifies gas levels inside a potentially hazardous area. The display mimics the Chillgard 5000 Gas Monitor readings for gas concentration, alarm status, calibration, and fault diagnostics. Workers can be easily alerted by a 70 dB audible alarm and read the monitor status to know the alarm conditions inside the room prior to entry. Up to 4 remote displays can be connected in series.

These enhancements to the Chillgard 5000 product line make it the ideal solution for early detection of refrigerant or ammonia gas leaks. Please check our Chillgard 5000 landing page for more information.
