This information is related to the speech diaphragm for 3S and Ultra Elite masks. In the past the rubber ring was glued directly on the speech diaphragm to allow an easier installation, for future deliveries this step in production has been removed. Please pay attention to the information enclosed in the spare part packaging.

Notice for GA1464 – Lamp XP LED
Required by ATEX notified body under EN60079-28:2015, we have created an additional ATEX code “op is” (Explosive atmospheres. Protection of equipment and transmission systems using optical radiation) on our XP LED ATEX certificate and body engraving. Please note that this new certificate is a minor update and does not impact all XP LED torches already sold in your respective markets. This update has been already implemented on our XPS torch in 2018.

Intrinsically safe optical radiation, protection type "op is”: what does this mean?
Intrinsically safe optical radiation means visible or infrared radiation which is not capable of providing sufficient energy under specified normal or fault conditions to cause ignition of a specific explosive atmosphere.
