Since its introduction MSA’s most advanced M1 SCBA comes with an extended warranty of 10 years as standard.
The M1 platform represents the most advanced, ergonomic and modular SCBA system on the market. To strengthen our customer’s confidence, we offer a 10-year warranty for the most critical components of the M1 SCBA. Customers very often ask about our warranty details so let’s put a light on what is included and what is not:

*MSA has conducted intensive in house and third-party endurance washing and drying cycle tests on the M1 SCBA components. These tests simulated intensive cleaning of SCBAs much above the normal industrial average for standard cycles of washing and drying recorded during the average lifetime of the SCBA (10 Years).
**Although SingleLine SCOUT and C1 headset were IP67 tested, it is not recommended to clean electronic devices in a washing machine. It is generally preferred to flush or clean with a damp cloth and soap.
