As we work to introduce new and innovative products to the fire service, we frequently evaluate product performance and market needs. With this thinking in mind, due to a decrease in demand, a decision has been made to discontinue all Commando HP3 Fire Helmet configurations and part numbers effective March 31, 2023.  

Users requiring a rescue helmet should consider the Cairns XR2 Technical Rescue Helmet, which is approved to NFPA 1951, 2020 Edition, Standard on Protective Ensembles for Technical Rescue Incidents.

MSA will continue HP3 Commando field support for up to five years, or as spare component and accessory parts availability allows.
