MSA's commitment to sustainability is reflected in its efforts to reduce its operational footprint and minimize the amount of electronics waste that ends up in landfills around the world. Along those lines, we have identified replacement sensors for Ultima® X Gas Detectors as an area where we can make a positive impact in North America.

Traditionally, replacing sensors for Ultima X Gas Detectors involved disposing of the old sensor, which contributes to the growing e-waste problem. However, MSA has taken a step forward in this regard and made it possible for customers to return their used sensors to the company for proper disposal and recycling.

By using the sensor shipping carton and enclosed prepaid return shipping label, North America customers can easily return their used sensors to MSA for proper disposal. This process not only reduces the amount of e-waste generated by Ultima X Gas Detectors but also ensures that the sensors are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
