The derrickhand/worker is exposed to great risk with regard to falls ocurring on a drilling rig. Most related hazards that workers encounter involve working on the monkey board. Accessing the derrick ladder to the board or basket exposes these workers to a fall; 100% tie-off is critical to help ensure worker safety.
