Fire & Iron

For the fifth year, MSA proudly sponsored the Fire and Iron Station 6 Firefighter Motorcycle Club's 6th Annual Burn Camp and Unit Ride on May 16th, 2015, with more than 109 bikes and $6,975 in donations raised.  All proceeds benefit the West Penn Children's Burn Camp and UPMC Mercy Pediatric Burn Unit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This brings our grand total for the two charities to $36,075!

MSA supported Station 6 by providing cash donations, refreshments, tents, t-shirts, musical entertainment and more!  "Weather plays a critical role in the success of our rides," said Renee Daum, Treasurer for Fire & Iron Station 6, "unfortunately it is not always in our favor."  "We managed to avoid the rain for most of the ride, with the exception of about two miles, but a great day was had by all," Daum added.

About Fire and Iron, Station 6:  Established in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2002, Station 6 is comprised mostly of firefighters, their friends and their families.  The group sponsors two major fundraising events each year:  a St. Valentine's Day party and the annual Burn Camp and Unit Ride.
