MSA ALTAIR 4 and 5 Multigas Detectors were discontinued in 2010 and 2011, and parts to support these platforms were discontinued at the end of 2014.  Since that time, legacy sensors have been available to support these products.  These sensors, unlike MSA's XCell® sensor, are sourced from an outside provider.

Due to recent changes in the sensor specifications, and the fact that MSA is no longer able to source additional parts, the following legacy sensor kits will be discontinued when inventory is depleted which is anticipated in April, 2016:

• P/N 10089116 -- Combustible Sensor ALTAIR 4/5
• P/N 10089117 -- Combustible Sensor ALTAIR 4/5
• P/N 10089118 -- Sensor Kit, CO-H2S, O2, Combustible
• P/N 10095052 -- Sensor Kit, CO-H2S, O2, Combustible
