MSA reps nationwide continued their annual involvement during Safety Week 2016! The overall goal of Safety Week is to refresh and educate workers and employers about potential safety hazards. Safety Week simultaneously ran with OSHA National Safety Stand-Down during the week of May 2-6.
MSA provided free OSHA-compliant, on-site training at various construction jobsites throughout Safety Week. MSA trained an estimated 7,000 individuals reviewing basic fall protection principles, and necessary personal protective products through demos and hands-on training.
MSA believes that the dangers and risks associated with the construction industry is a continuous task that goes beyond Safety Week. Watch below as Safety Specialist, Brady Landry trains workers in Intracoastal City, Louisiana:
Among the many exciting events that took place during Safety Week, MSA held the #BestJobIEverHad contest to encourage safety awareness. By visiting our site on safety, individuals had the opportunity to win a $250 prize by entering and sharing an image to their Facebook page. Congratualations to our winner Mike A. from Springfield, Illinois!
