Effective April 30th 2018, the following Chillgard products will be discontinued:

• Chillgard RT Refrigerant Monitor
• Chillgard LC Control Module
• Chillgard LS Photoacoustic Infrared Refrigerant Monitor

MSA will continue to support these products with replacement parts until 2023, or until critical components can no longer be sourced, whichever comes first. 

In January 2018, MSA launched the new Chillgard 5000 Refrigerant Leak Monitor.  The Chillgard 5000 offers high performance through photoacoustic infrared technology with 1 ppm minimum detection, predictive maintenance, improved serviceability with a modular design, and a user experience like no other. 

Although the Chillgard RT, LC and LS will be discontinued this year, the Chillgard LE Photoacoustic Infrared Refrigerant Monitor will remain part of MSA's refrigerant detection portfolio until December 2018.
