Discontinuation Notice: Vanguard™ Protective Caps

Effective December 31st 2018, the Vanguard Protective Cap will be discontinued. MSA recommends the Super-V® Protective Caps as an enhanced replacement. Affected Vanguard part #'s and subsequent replacement details listed here!

This notice is to inform you that MSA will be discontinuing the Vanugard Protective Cap from the industrial head protection product line as of December 31, 2018.  The table below outlines the part numbers to be discontinued and their recommended replacement.

Vanguard Discontinuation

While MSA regrets any inconvenience this discontinuation may cause, we are pleased to offer the recently updated Super-V Type II Protective Caps as an improved replacement.  The Super-V Cap includes a new foam liner that eliminates pressure points while increasing user comfort and compliance.  In addition, the Super-V helmet is now available as a Type II helmet for both ANSI and CSA.
