In conjunction with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), MSA is proud to sponsor Confined Space OSHA 1910.146:  It's Time to Change the Statistics

Date: November 28, 2018
Time: 2:00PM ET

ABOUT THE WEBINAR:  Confined space hazards such as entrapment, engulfment, and hazardous gases increase the risk of injury and possible death.  OSHA 1910.146 provides minimum standards for employers to follow when planning confined space entry but permit required confined spaces still remain the leading cause of fatalities.  This webinar will discuss best practices vs. just meeting the minimum standards and which areas are insufficient and need change.  Topics of discussion include:

  • Best practices above and beyond the minimum OSHA regulations
  • Equipment and training for workers and rescuers
  • Creating "what if" training scenarios and procedures

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:  Chris Koester is the owner of Priority One Safe-T, LLC, an emergency response and standby rescue services and training firm for industrial and manufacturing companies.  Chris has over 21 years of experience as a rescuer and is an internationally recognized expert in confined space entry and rescue.  He also has a team of active and retired firefighters leading Confined Space Entry and Rescue classroom courses and hands-on technical training.
