MSA is issuing the attached User Advisory concerning Topgard Caps with Lamp Bracket and Cord Holder that may not meet the Class E electrical high voltage resistance requirements of the ANSI Z89.1-2003 and CSA Z94.1-2005 standards.
Modifications to the process used to attach the lamp bracket may have affected the electrical resistance performance of helmets manufactured from April 2008 through October 2008.
Please issue a copy of the attached User Advisory to all applicable customers. If we have you listed as purchasing this product through our system, you will also be receiving a listing of your applicable purchases to help facilitate your notification to customers.
