ABOUT THE WEBINAR: The presentation will compare OSHA's general industry 1910.146 permit-required confined space standard, and confined spaces in construction standard 1926.1201-1213 with ANSI Z117.1 R2016 Safety Requirements for Entering Confined Spaces.  Participants will learn the main requirements and safeguards of each standard.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:  Terry W. Krug started with OSHA as an IH Compliance Officer before moving on to an IH Instructor.  He later started a consulting business that he operated for 6 years.  After this time, he became a Safety and Health Specialist/Compliance Officer conducting enforcement safety and health inspections.  Mr. Krug has been the past chair of AIHA's Confined Spaces Technical Committee, and is presently chair of the ANSI Z117.1 standard Safety Requirements for Entering Confined Spaces.
