MSA to Participate in OSHA's National Safety Stand-Down Campaign

The National Safety Stand-Down raises fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries. MSA will participate in this initiative for the 6th year by providing free on-site training. Read the full article for more details!
MSA continues its participation in OSHA's National Safety Stand-Down taking place the week of May 6-10, 2019. This marks the 6th year that MSA has joined this important and effective campaign to raise awareness and educate construction workers and employers about potential safety hazards in the industry.
A Safety Stand-Down is a voluntary event that focuses on fall hazards and reinforces the importance of fall prevention. MSA reps nationwide are supporting this week by providing FREE on-site training including:
- Basic fall protection principles
- Demonstrations
- Hands-on training
- ANSI/OSHA standards overview
- Components of a fall arrest system
- Equipment inspection
- Calculating fall distances
