New Chemgard Application Note for Monitoring Refinery Fuel Leaks
01/21/10
  • Fixed Gas & Flame Detection Fixed Gas & Flame Detection
A new application note details how the Chemgard Monitor may be used to monitor fuel leaks in refinery engine test and fuel blend rooms.

The Chemgard Photoacoustic Infrared Gas Monitor provides an excellent solution for detection of gasoline and other fuel vapors in this type of monitoring application due to it's ability to detect low ppm (down to 3 ppm) levels. A multi-point system (up to 8 points) with strategically located sample points can be used to cover a large room area. Additionally, the photoacoustic infrared technology used in the Chemgard can easily detect below the toxic levels for exposure to gasoline.
