On September 30, 2019, MSA received U.S. Government approval from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and certification from the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) as compliant to the 2018 Edition of the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) 1981 performance standards.  With this approval, MSA began shipping the new NFPA-compliant SCBA immediately!

In addition to the approval of the G1 2018 Edition, MSA is pleased to announce several new product options/enhancements that are available now.  Customers can now purchase cylinder caps and boots for added protection of their cylinders.  In addition to caps and boots, customers will also have a new cylinder option with locking handwheel.
