Discontinuation Notice: MSA AirHawk II Air Mask
10/15/2020
  • Supplied-Air Respirators Supplied-Air Respirators
Effective December 31, 2020, the AirHawk II SCBA will be discontinued including all part numbers and ATO configurations. The only exception will be a limited number of part numbers for customers who require Heads Up Display (HUD) and/or voice communication options. All of the details can be found here!

MSA recently announced the relaunch of the G1 Industrial SCBA platform which includes several new impressive features:  Twin-cartridge APR adapter, "fire-hardened" ATO configurations, and the much-anticipated Remote Cylinder Connection (G1 iRC).

AirHawk II upgrade kits, which allow the AirHawk II to be used with a G1 Industrial SCBA facepiece, will also remain available.  All of this has been done to help easily transition AirHawk II fleet customers and to introduce new customers to the successful G1 Industrial family of products.

Following significant review, a decision has been made to discontinue the AirHawk II SCBA as of December 31, 2020.  At this time, all AirHawk II part numbers and ATO configurations will be deactivated, except for a limited number of part numbers for customers who specifically require Heads Up Display (HUD) and/or Voice Communication options.  See list of discontinued AirHawk II PNs and G1 Industrial iRC replacement options here.

MSA recognizes the large number of AirHawk II units currently in service and will continue to support these customers.  As is standard with our respiratory product phaseout, AirHawk II replacement and maintenance parts will be made available for the next 10 years or until stock has been depleted, whichever occurs first.
