Reminder that all versions of the ALTAIR 4 QuickCheck Station will be discontinued as of December 31, 2011 due to soft customer demand.
MSA will continue product field support for up to three years or as component
availability allows.
Users requiring a replacement product should consider MSA's
ALTAIR 4 GALAXY® Automated Test System for both bump tests
and full calibration. Simply place the instrument in the test stand
and the syst
em performs the test automatically; no user intervention
is required. All gas tubing and communication paths are pre-connected; 10 instrument-specific Galaxy Test System modules can
be interconnected.
The ALTAIR 4 GALAXY System is completely standalone; it does
not require a computer or network interface for any mode of operation. The fully-featured version of GALAXY Test System provides an optional network interface, enabling easy data retrieval and reporting. Calibration and bump check records, due date for instrument calibration, and the ability to email MSA directly for support are just a few of the capabilities of this interface.
