ALTAIR 4X Multigas Detector with new MSA XCell Sensor Technology offers many performance advantages: faster response time, four-year sensor life, increased stability, and less than 60-second calibration time. The ALTAIR 4X  operates with only MSA XCell Sensors for LEL, O2, two-toxic H2S/CO, or individual H2S and CO sensors.  Not to mention, the ALTAIR 4X provides a greater cost of ownership savings.  

ALTAIR 5X Multigas Detector  with XCell™ Sensor Technology

The MSA ALTAIR 5X Multigas Detector is driven by XCell™ Sensor Technology with ASIC design.  A few benefits include an industry-first LEL, O2, CO, H2S, and SO2 60-second span calibration and 10-second bump test time; a four-year sensor life on LEL, O2, CO, H2S, SO2, and IR sensors; three-year sensor life on NH3 and Cl2; MSA-exclusive instrument end-of-sensor-life warning; MSA-exclusive MotionAlert^TM and InstantAlert^TM features.  What's more, it provides a greater cost of ownership savings - Over 50 % in comparison to the industry average.
