The all-new MSA LUNAR is now available for purchase!  LUNAR is a handheld, wireless, search and rescue device to help keep a crew connected when it matters most, in the most unpredictable situations.  LUNAR is an “all in one” safety solution that can be used by every firefighter on-scene, on or off air, enhancing vision, increasing situational awareness, and providing accountability for everyone on-scene.

Features of the MSA LUNAR include:

• Exclusive Firefighting Assisting Search Technology (F.A.S.T.), which combines distance and direction data enabling firefighters to find separated teammates faster;
• Personal thermal imaging enhanced with edge detection for improved situational awareness;
• Direct cloud connectivity to send real-time stats, including estimated air pressure, time remaining, and battery life, to Incident Command and remote monitoring personnel for a complete safety point-of-view; and
• A unique LUNAR-to-LUNAR network that automatically keeps each device connected to all others on-scene.

In order to fulfill all orders, MSA is ramping up production of LUNAR and expects to begin shipments of the device in the second quarter.

In addition, FireGrid, the suite of software applications supporting our Connected Firefighter Platform, will launch later this month. This is inclusive of FireGrid Web, FireGrid Monitor, and FireGrid Configure.
