  • General/Company Information General/Company Information
The MSA Sales, Marketing and Training Teams have worked hard to provide our customers with Virtual Training Sessions during National Safety Stand Down Week. The live, virtual sessions provided an opportunity to raise awareness about fall protection and safety when working at height.

Over the course of the past year and a half, digital tools and virtual platforms have become more important than ever. This is true too for MSA. Our Sales, Marketing and Training teams have made continuous efforts to best leverage these tools to deliver to you the training and educational information you need.

As part of the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration's (OSHA) National Safety Stand-Down Week, held this year from May 3-7, MSA hosted multiple live virtual training sessions – focused on topics around fall protection, the proper use of MSA fall protection devices, and worksite safety in general. Now in its eighth year, Safety Stand-Down aims to raise fall hazard awareness in an effort to prevent fall injuries and fatalities, the latter of which continues to be a leading cause of death for construction workers.

Participants were able to join one or both of these virtual sessions hosted by MSA, live from the RLA:

  • Horizontal Lifeline Basics
  • Confined Space Hazards

The popularity and participation of this event continues to grow year over year with more than 1,000 virtual event registrations for 2021.

Throught the entire week of National Safety Stand-Down, more than 100 on-site ToolBox Talks were also conducted by MSA safety experts in the field. Additional engagement was driven across MSA social platforms with fall protection content videos and articles, which can be used or provided to customers:
