V-Gard® Accessory System Expands with 13 New Products
06/20/12
  • Head, Eye, Face and Hearing Head, Eye, Face and Hearing
Highlights include PC shade visors for welding, side-contoured general purpose PC visors, and an elevated temperature Universal Frame for caps.

V-Gard Visors for welding, cutting and brazing protect against damage from impact and infrared radiation, are made of molded PC, and are engineered for heavy-duty use. They are available either as visors or nitrometers, in Shade 3 or Shade 5. These visors meet requirements for EN166, ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2010 (for welding), and are certified to CSA Z94.3 (for shade).

The sides of the new general-purpose V-Gard Visors are contoured towards the face for a closer fit and improved resistance to impact and splash hazards. Providing maximum UV protection, they are also available in increased thickness or extended coverage versions.

Our universal frame for use in elevated-temperatures can be used with slotted or non-slotted MSA caps. MSA also offers a non-debris control option for the value-minded. The frames are designed for easy and secure placement, and can be used with earmuffs and other personal protective equipment.

All products in this launch meet the applicable requirements for ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2010, EN 166, and CSA Z94.3.
