ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

In July of 2021, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) released a new edition of ANSI/ASSP Z359.14, which establishes the requirements for Self-Retracting Devices (SRDs) for Personal Fall Arrest and Rescue Systems.  During this webinar, Rob Willis from MSA Safety  will discuss several key changes in this latest standard and what it means for users of Self-Retracting Devices in the Industrial Safety space.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Rob Willis has been in the Fall Protection industry for over 15 years with MSA. A degreed Mechanical Engineer with an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, he has spent a majority of his time working in New Product Development designing fall protection PPE. He has developed all major parts of a fall protection system from harnesses to anchorage connectors with one area of focus being end user centric point of view.

Rob has been attending the ISEA and ANSI Z359 Fall Protection meetings since 2011 contributing to multiple standards and recently has been the vice chair of ANSI Z359.11 Harnesses.
