MSA recently won a large fire helmet contract for the Cairns 1044 Defender, the #1-selling helmet in North America. As part of this win, we were asked to factory install the Defender visor nose pad on each visor.

Based on this contract and additional supporting Voice-of-Customer feedback, we have decided that all Defender visors will now be equipped with nose pads.

This decision includes all new helmets with the Defender visor, as well as upgrade kits and individual Defender replacement lenses.

Also, if you would like to add a Defender visor nose pad to your existing Defender visor, we offer a package of five (5) nose pads (PN 10101798).  Please contact your local MSA distributor for more details.
