The Wired HART Port allows users to connect an intrinsically safe HART communication device to the X/S5000 transmitter within a hazardous location without the need to open the enclosure or access the milliamp circuit.

The Wired HART Port is installed in a spare conduit entry on the X/S5000 and is wired to the dedicated HART connector on the X/S5000 circuit board. Once installed, users are able to connect the gas detector to the HART communicator using the HART Cable (sold separately).

The HART port is approved for sale within North America and IECEx jurisdictions.

A European version of the HART port will be released in the near future.
